In a few words, let me tell you what oral sex is. It is the best way to bring your companion into climax, by using you mouth, tongue or maybe your teeth. Oral sex can also be called blowing, blow job, licking, going down, giving head and many others.
There are three types of oral sex. Fellatio ( or even more commonly blowjob ) is the oral stimulation of men's reproductive organs ( my own favorite when my spouse excites my crotch ). The first one is Fellatio. Number 2 one is Cunnilingus. Cunnilingus is the oral lick of ladies nads ( I think she favors that ). The 3rd one is Anilingus.
These types of head giving can be done by either hetero ( straight ), homosexual ( gay ) or maybe bisexual men and women.
Oral sex could even pleasure both of the partners simultaneously if used in the right way. Sixty nine is when one partner is laying down while the other partner is on top of the first one but the first's head is at the second's genitals and the opposite. This sexual position is named 69 ( I don't believe there's a single person reading this at this time that hasn't tried or maybe heard about this position ). Even though going down on another person could be a dazzling experience, there are certain flaws which make many individuals avoid it.
There are people that don't like to perform this type of sex, while I do not believe there isn't anybody in this world that doesn't like some other person to perform it to her or him. From the health viewpoint, those that support the "unhealthy" opinion could be right. It is not always ( actually it never is ) nice when you have to perform oral sex to someone who is not correctly looking after his / her cleanliness. Don't take my words for it, just try it yourselves. Imagine having to go down to a woman that stinks from Ten miles! In this example the solution is easy, all you have to do is read about the hygiene factors in the books ( how to give a good blowjob the easiest way to go down on a girl ) and the way to turn your other half into the clean and nice smelling person you were always wanting. It's not truly a smart idea to have oral sex in one night stands, its like having regular sex without a condom.
From my part the only downside of oral sex is that, like regular sex, there are health risks relating to sexually transmitted diseases. For men things are better since they may be using a rubber ( you can get them flavoured to extend the woman's pleasure ), but for women isn't the same. It is easy to get all the STDs. So if you've got a regular partner just do some examinations on Sexually Transmitted Diseases to ensure that both the partners are OK. Sexually Transmitted Diseases might be a drawback but if it was to stop us from performing oral sex, it might also stop us from performing regular sex also.
